Tips to raise your kids

Today’s young people are said to be more misbehaving than the older generations. Raising a well-mannered kid is not easy, but that does not mean that it is impossible. In this essay, I am going to give you some tips to instill kindness, empathy, and patience in your child.

To begin with, you should know that your kids will unconsciously copy your way of behaving so you should try to be as you want your kids to be because you are their principal example. Try to be kind and patience with them, and spend as much time as you have playing with them, reading, watching films, …

Added to this, one of the most important lessons to your child is to learn that he should treat others as he wants to be treated. This will make your son an empathic child and also probably also a kind one. It is important that your son understand that everyone has feelings and sometimes being rude can make others feel sad or angry.

Last but not least, it is normal that sometimes your child will misbehave but the better way to correct them is not to fall out with them. You should try to explain to them why their way of behaving has been incorrect, and also you should try to make them feel entirely understood by you. Explaining those things patiently is vitally important; do not get angry this will only negatively affect your child.

In my specific case, when I was younger my parents teach me that every effort that I do would have a reward in the future, and also that if you want something you have to work on it, no one’s is going to give you the things you want easily. Those things make me become more hardworking and responsible.

To sum up, some good ways to rise up your child are being a good model to follow, teach empathy, being patient with him, etc.
