Murcia does not exist

 Do you know why most of the population of Spain says that? Well, it’s only a joke. The meaning of it, it’s that no one cares about Murcia, and no one visits it. In real life that isn’t true, obviously everyone knows Murcia. There is also a joke that says Teruel exist, it is more or less the same, but I think that Murcia it’s more known than Teruel. Anyway, the thing is that its only humor and it is only intended to ridicule this place.
