Music in our lifes
Have you ever thought about how important it's music in your life? The other day I was surfing the internet and I found an article about music and its benefits for health. When I read it I found it incredible and I wanted to know more about it, so I searched on the internet for some information and I found more than I expected. In this essay, I'm going to soy you some of the benefits that I found this day.
Benefits of listening to music:
- Music makes you happier, when you are listening to music that you like your brain releases dopamine, so you might feel better while listening to it and after
- Music lowers stress and improves health, listening to music you enjoy decreases levels of the stress hormone cortisolin.
- Music helps you sleep better, it's scientifically proven that people who listen to classical music between 45-30 mins before going to bed sleep better than people who don't do it.
- Music develops creativity, learning to play any instrument can be a way of developing our creativity.
- Music reduces pain, Research at Drexel University in Philadelphia found that music therapy and pre-recorded music reduced pain more than standard treatments in cancer patients.
These are just a few of all the benefits that music has. Some of them are incredible, how can a melody make you feel less pain? Anyway, I always spend half of my day listening to music, when I gather my room in the morning, when I'm doing homework when I'm doing exercise and even when I'm with my friends. I always listen to music when I'm not in a good mood, it makes me feel much better. I think that life without music should be very boring. Imagine a gym without music, you would only hear others shouting and suffering because of the effort they're doing. How uncomfortable!
